Registration Details

1. The online/bank payment of registered participants should be made on or before May 30, 2025. The proof of online payments should be either uploaded in the online registration form. If this is not possible (e.g. delayed school processing), the school concerned school representative shall inform the organizers via e-mail (papsasinc.national@gmail.com) or the PAPSAS Facebook Page’s Messenger (https://www.facebook.com/papsasinc).
2. Participants, especially the late registrants, shall be requested to show a digital or hardcopy of the proof of payment, upon the onsite registration.
3. The Service Invoice shall be issued on June 19, 2025 (Day 2).
4. Walk-In Participants and Additional School Delegates are not allowed.
5. The participants who are able to completely attend all the research activities shall receive the full Certificate of Attendance and Certificate of Appearance. Daily attendance of the registered participants shall be checked by the organizers. Those who fail to completely attend the forum will receive a certificate only for the date/s that they were confirmed to be present in the event.
6. Registered and paid participants who, for whatever reasons, failed to show up during the entire or a part of the National Research Conference shall not be entitled to a refund/reimbursed.

Venue Details

1. The Research Conference shall be held from June 18, 2025 at 9:00AM (Registration), until June 20, 2025, 12:15PM. (Closing Program and Distribution of Certificates).
2. The venue of the research conference is at Proxy by The Oriental Albay, Purok 1 Brgy. 33 Penaranda St, Legazpi Port District, Legazpi City, Albay.
3. Participants who will be traveling from other regions shall be the one to arrange their service or vehicle transfer from the airport to the hotel.
4. Only those who registered and paid as Live-In Participants shall have room accommodation at the said hotel.
5. The organizers shall be in-charge of the live-in participants’ room assignment.
6. Requests for room transfer shall not be entertained by the organizers.
7. The check-in Time at the hotel is at 2:00PM on June 18, 2025, while the Check-Out Time is at 12:00NN on June 20, 2025. However, since the opening program on June 18 will start by 1pm, live-in participants may be allowed to checked-in to their assigned rooms after the series of activities on Day 1. Participants are responsible for hotel reservations before/after this schedule.
8. Participants are advised to bring their valid ID, which the hotel staff may request to be presented as part of the check-in procedures.
9. Live-Out participants shall arrange their own lodging in Legazpi City, Albay.
10. All participants should observe punctuality.
11. Participants should use the hotel/venue facilities with care. A participant who causes damage or loss to the facility or property, including the room key, is responsible for replacing the damaged or lost facility or property per policy of the hotel.
12. Participants are discouraged from exploring areas that are not included/reserved for the activity. They should abide by the rules and regulations of PAPSAS and the hotel (if applicable).
13. Participants should observe the Clean as you go (CLAYGO) practice and proper waste disposal.
14. No participant is allowed to leave the vicinity of the area without the permission of the authorized school and until the activity ends.

Safety Details

1. All participants shall observe the minimum health standards of the government and venue/hotel.
2. Those who are sick or with visibly observed flu-like symptoms like cough and colds are advised to stay in their hotel room and inform their attending moderators/adviser and the organizer for proper disposition.
3. The organizers shall not arrange for the participants’ transportation.
4. Organizers and participants should be aware of the hotel’s procedures in case of emergencies during the activity (e.g., fire, earthquake, etc.).
5. If the participants have any health concerns that may affect his/her participation in the activity, he/she must inform the attending PAPSAS Officers.
6. For health and security emergencies, the participants should immediately coordinate with the organizers and hotel authorities.
7. Participants are highly discouraged from leaving the venue while the official activities are ongoing, except for emergencies. Hence, they should free their schedule solely for the activity, and avoid arranging for a tour during the research conference schedule.
8. The organizers shall not be responsible for the participant’s safety in their personal time and activities outside the official research conference program. Exercise of due diligence, especially for the attending practitioners/ advisers, is strongly advised.
9. Participants are responsible for all their belongings/valuables. The organizers shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the participants’ belongings/valuables.
10. The PAPSAS, Inc shall not be held liable for any injury resulting from accidents caused by human error or equipment failure or by force majeure during the activity. Likewise, it shall not be held liable for the health and safety of the participants should he/she decide to leave the venue, especially if without the permission from the organizing committee. It shall not be held liable for any untoward incident as a result of the participants’ non-compliance with any rules and regulations of the organizing committee.

Activity Decorum Details

1. Organizers and participants should conduct themselves in a manner befitting of school representatives.
2. Attendance, full attention and cooperation are expected from all participants in all activities of the program.
3. Participants should observe phone and technology ethics.
4. Drinking alcoholic or intoxicating beverages, and smoking (including electronic cigarettes) are not allowed during the conduct of the conference.
5. Any form of public immorality (e.g., public display of affection, etc.) is prohibited.
6. Acts of discrimination shall not be tolerated.

Qualifications

1. All interested SAS practitioners, scholars, students and researchers are qualified to submit paper for presentation.
2. The research must be related to any of the following sub-themes:
   • SAS Practitioners: Creating Pathways Toward Inclusion, Diversity, and Equality
   • Technology in Quality Student Campus Life: Promises and Challenges
   • Campus Engagement and Practices in Nurturing a Healthy Campus Environment
   • All Roads Lead to Sustainable Development Goals
   • The Era of the Cyber Space and Student Values Development

Submission and Selection

1. Interested presenters should submit the abstract of their paper using this link: https://bit.ly/4thResearchConference
2. The abstract should have a maximum of three hundred fifty (350) words, and it must be written in English in MS Word Times New Roman 12 format, typed single-spaced in A4 size with one inch margin on all sides, and must not exceed one page. (See attached sample).
3. The PAPSAS In. Research Committee will hold a screening of the applications based on the submitted abstract.
4. Authors of selected papers for presentation shall submit the full paper until June 10, 2025.

Full Paper

1. The full paper should follow the IMRAD format which is subdivided into the following sections:
   • title
   • authors and institutional affiliations
   • abstract
   • introduction
   • methodology
   • results and discussion
   • conclusion and recommendations
   • reference list/literature cited
   • appendices (optional)
2. The full paper should be written in MS Word Times New Roman 12 format, typed single-spaced (zero spacing before and after paragraph) in A4 size with one inch margin on all sides, and must not exceed should not be more than 15 pages excluding appendices and no more than 5000 words.
3. Main section headings should be in bold face, UPPERCASE, and aligned on the left.
4. Subheadings should be sentence-cased, bold case, italicized, and aligned on the left.
5. Page number should be on the upper right corner of the page.
6. Do not separate pages from the main sections.
7. The title should be at the top of the first page, 14 points, centered, single spaced, and in UPPERCASE.
8. The authors should be in sentence case, 12 points, single spaced, centered, and with superscript number for institutional affiliations placed after the authors’ names.
9. The institutional affiliations and address of authors should be in sentence case, 11 points, single spaced, centered, and superscript number placed before the institutional affiliations and address.
10. The abstract should have a maximum of three hundred fifty (350) words in 11 points font size. Below the abstract after the blank line, are the three to five (3 to 5) keywords with indention. The “Keywords:” label should be italicized while the actual keywords are not italicized and written in lowercase letters each is separated by commas.
11. Figures and tables should follow the APA 7 style.
12. Only the citations used in the paper should be included in the reference list. References should be alphabetically arranged. (See attached sample).
